  • Applicants must be preparing for a career in physical or occupational therapy by enrolling in an undergraduate or graduate professional program or a therapy assistant program.
  • They must have a grade average of "B" or better and be able to document financial need.
  • Undergraduates in professional programs must submit an essay on their short and long-term goals and the qualities they possess that will make them good therapists.
  • Graduate professional students must describe their main focus in the physical or occupational field and how they plan to use their degree.
  • Therapy assistant students must describe their short and long-term goals, what they want to do with their therapy assistant training, and why they became interested in that field.
  • Selection is based on academic qualifications (40%), personality and desire (30%), and financial need (30%).
