Interpublic Group Scholarship and Internship provides financial assistance and work experience to women from ethnically diverse groups who are residents of designated eastern states and enrolled as juniors at a college in any state to prepare for a career in advertising or public relations.

Requirements

This program is open to female residents of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Pennsylvania who are from ethnically diverse groups and currently enrolled as juniors at a college or university in any state.

Also eligible are women who reside outside the 4 states but are currently enrolled at a college or university within 1 of the 5 boroughs of New York City.

Applicants must be preparing for a career in advertising or public relations and have a GPA of 3.2 or higher.

They must be available for a summer internship with Interpublic Group (IPG) in New York City.

Selection is based on academic record, need, demonstrated leadership, participation in school and community activities, honors and other awards or recognition, work experience, goals and aspirations, and unusual personal and/or family circumstances.

U.S. citizenship or permanent status is required.
