John Van Fleet Student Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in Illinois who are children of members of the Illinois Athletic Directors Association (I.A.D.A.) and plan to attend college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Illinois and planning to enroll at a college or university in any state.

Applicants must be the child of a current member of the I.A.D.A. Along with their application, they must submit a brief essay describing why they should be considered for this scholarship and what they consider to be their most significant contributions to the school and community.

Selection is based on leadership, participation in the athletic program, participation in other school activities, community service, and overall positive contribution to school and community.
