The Korean War Veteran's Children's Scholarship is for direct descendants of a Korean War veteran or direct descendants of a soldier who served in a foreign war and who is enrolled full-time. Applicants who demonstrate financial need are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given first to direct descendants of Korean War veterans who died in combat and second to direct descendants of veterans who served during the Korean War.

  • Direct descendant of a Korean War veteran or a direct descendant of a soldier who served in a foreign war
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Fulltime student
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given in the following order: first to direct descendants of Korean War veterans who died in combat; second to direct descendants of veterans who served during the Korean War. Note that applicants do not need to be Hawai'i residents.
