The Laura M. Fleming Scholarship provides need-based and merit-based financial aid to graduating high school seniors who are the children of Founders Federal Credit Union members (which serves 10 counties in South Carolina and 1 in North Carolina). Special consideration is given to students who have demonstrated having a positive impact on their community.

Child of a member in good standing of the Founders Federal Credit Union (member for a minimum of 2 years) which serves Cherokee, Chester, Chesterfield, Lancaster, Laurens, Pickens, Richland, Spartanburg, Union, and York counties in South Carolina and Mecklenburg County in North Carolina

Minimum 3.5 GPA

Graduating high school senior

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree

Participate in extracurricular activities, community service, or church

Demonstrate good citizenship Preference is given to students who demonstrate a positive influence in their community and exemplify sound morals and character.
