MAES Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Texas of Hispanic heritage who plan to major in a field of STEM at a college in the Austin area.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Texas who are of Hispanic heritage and entering their freshman or sophomore year at a 2- or 4-year college or university in the Austin area.

Applicants must be planning to enroll full or parttime and major in a field of STEM. They must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Selection is based on academic achievement, community service, personal strengths, leadership, and financial need.

U.S. citizenship is not required; students may qualify under Texas Senate Bill 1528.
