Martin L. Stout Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists (AEG) who are working on an undergraduate degree in geology or a graduate degree with an environmental or engineering geology emphasis.

Requirements

This program is open to student members of the association who are undergraduate geology majors in their sophomore through a senior year or graduate students with an environmental or engineering geology emphasis.

Applicants must submit a 500word essay on either of the following questions: 1) how they intend to become a competent environmental and engineering geologist, or 2) why they need to become a competent field geologist.

Selection is based on the essay and letters of recommendation.
