Requirements

This program is open to residents of Texas and Oklahoma who are graduating high school seniors planning to enroll at an accredited university in their state.

Applicants must be majoring in agriculture or a related field (e.g., agribusiness, animal science, preveterinary, range management, wildlife).

They must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher and be able to demonstrate financial need.

Their background must include beef cattle production.

U.S. citizenship is required.

Applicants must be members, children of members, or sponsored by a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA).

Special consideration is given to students who are the first member of their families to attend college.
