The Mel C. Marshall Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of California who are interested in attending college to prepare for a career in the precast concrete industry.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of California who are graduating high school seniors or undergraduate students currently enrolled full-time at a college, university, or community college that offers a degree in a field related to the precast concrete industry.

Eligible fields include those related to building or construction but may also extend to safety, accounting, or other relevant fields.

Applicants must submit transcripts (including ACT/SAT scores for high school students), a letter of recommendation, a letter of sponsorship from a member of the California Precast Concrete Association (CPCA), and an essay of 300 to 500 words on a topic related to the precast concrete industry.
