Montana Association of Registered Land Surveyors Scholarship Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Montana who are preparing for a career as a licensed professional surveyor at a college in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to graduates of Montana high schools who are enrolled in a surveying program at a college or university in the state.

Applicants may be 1) firstyear students entering a program to become a licensed professional surveyor, or 2) second-year students entering the second year of a 2-year surveying program or the third year of a 4-year surveying program.

Firstyear students must submit a 1-page essay describing what interested them in pursuing an education in surveying and their career goals.

Secondyear students must submit a 1-page essay describing what they have learned about surveying to date and how that knowledge will assist them in achieving their career goals.

Selection is based on the essay, academic achievement, work history, course of study, and financial need.
