Requirements

This program is open to juniors, seniors, and graduate students working full-time on a degree in a field related to plating and surface finishing technologies (e.g., chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, materials science or engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering).

The minimum GPA is 3.0 for undergraduates or 3.3 for graduate students.

Applicants must submit a 2page statement describing their career objectives, intended plans for study in plating and surface finishing technologies, and long-range goals.

Selection is based on that statement, academic record, extracurricular activities, and work experience.

Financial need is not considered.
