National Aviation Explorer Scholarship provides financial assistance to Explorer Scouts who are interested in studying aviation in college.

Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors and students at a college, university, or technical school who are currently registered and active in an aviation Explorer post.

Applicants may be applying for any of the following categories of activity: 1) a college or university degree leading to an aviation profession; 2) an accredited school in an avionics repair program; 3) flight training for a sport or private pilot certificate; 4) an accredited school in an aircraft repair program; or 5) an aviation management program (including design, engineering, airport management) at an accredited college or university.

Selection is based on the essay, leadership involvement, aviation accomplishments, and achievement.
