Requirements

This program is open to residents of North Carolina entering or enrolled at accredited colleges, universities, community colleges, or technical schools in the state.

Applicants must submit transcripts; a letter of recommendation from a community leader or teacher; a letter of recommendation from an official of a local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution; a list of extracurricular activities, honors received, academic achievements, or other significant accomplishments; and a 600word letter on the reasons why they are applying.

Selection is based on character, scholarship, need, and potential for becoming a good patriotic citizen of our state and nation.
