Region 13 Youth Excellence Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to residents of Indiana and Michigan who are members of the Arabian Horse Association and either high school seniors or freshmen at colleges in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to high school seniors and freshmen at accredited colleges, universities, and vocational/technical schools in any state.
  • Applicants must have been residents of Indiana or Michigan for the 2 previous years and be current members of the Arabian Horse Association through an affiliated Region 13 club.
  • They may be majoring or planning to major in any field.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement and GPA, involvement in equine activities, leadership, a sense of direction for further education, and an essay on the role they see for themselves within the future of the Arabian horse breed or the industry.
