The Robert B. Taylor Scholarship program awards need-based scholarships to graduates of a high school in one of the 14 eligible counties in Texas. Students who are studying for a degree in the vocational field such as automotive, hospitality, or culinary arts or the field of medicine such as nursing, premed, or physician assistance are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to Black or African American students and to those attending one of the Alamo Community Colleges.

  • Resident of Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Blanco, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina, or Wilson counties, Texas
  • High school graduate
  • Seeking a professional certification or associate degree full or parttime
  • Studying for a degree in a vocational or medical field such as automotive, hospitality, culinary arts, nursing, premed, or physician assistance
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to Black or African American students and to those attending one of the Alamo Community Colleges.
