Requirements

This program is open to members and junior members of the Society who are in the first year or later of a college or university program leading to a bachelor's or advanced degree at a school in any state.

Applicants must submit an essay, up to 750 words in length, on a topic that changes annually but relates to the history of the Mayflower Pilgrims in America.

Selection is based primarily on that essay, which is judged on organization, clarity of thought, grammar, and punctuation.

Financial need is not considered.
