South Dakota USAA Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the South Dakota National Guard Enlisted Association (SDNGEA) and their dependents who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to current members of the SDNGEA and their dependents.

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or fulltime undergraduate students at a college or university in any state.

They must submit a 300page autobiography that includes their experiences to date and their hopes and plans for the future.

Selection is based on the essay; awards, honors, and offices in high school, college, or trade school; GPA and ACT/SAT scores; letters of recommendation; and extracurricular and community activities and honors.
