About the Scholarship

The Tellus Endowed Geology Scholarship is open to graduate students in geology at The University of Southern Mississippi. Students who can demonstrate financial need are encouraged to apply. Those planning a career as a petroleum geologist receive special consideration. If a student with financial need cannot be identified, the financial need criterion may be waived. If no graduate student can be identified, the scholarship may be awarded to an undergraduate student who meets the criteria.
