This program is open to women currently enrolled as juniors, seniors, or master's degree students at a college or university in Colorado.

Applicants must be working on a degree in Colorado, western, or American history or a related field of history and have a grade average of "B" or higher.

They must be recommended by a member of the Territorial Daughters of Colorado.
