The THINK STEM Scholarship program supports students who have financial need and are seeking a postsecondary education. This program is for students who will work in a preferably STEM-related occupation on Hawaii Island. This scholarship was established by the Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT) International Partnership in 2014.

  • Minimum 2.7 GPA
  • Resident of Hawaii Island, Hawaii
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree
  • Attending a notfor-profit institution within the U.S. as a full-time student
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to applicants who are actively pursuing an associate degree, undergraduate degree, graduate degree, or certificate for the purpose of working in a STEMrelated (science, technology, engineering, or math) occupation on Hawaii Island. Preference is also given to renewal applicants.
