Requirements
  • This program is open to lesbian-identified students who are 1) graduating high school seniors planning to attend a recognized college or university; 2) currently-enrolled undergraduates, and 3) graduate students.
  • Applicants must submit essays on 1) their personal history, including a significant challenge or achievement in terms of community service, academic excellence, or dynamic leadership; 2) a particularly important experience they have had as a lesbian and how it has affected them; and 3) their plans or goals to give back to or focus on the LGBTQIA+ community while in school or after graduating.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement, community service and leadership, and commitment to impacting LGBTQIA+ issues.
