Western Region Certified Crop Advisers Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate students in designated areas of Arizona and California who are studying agronomy in order to become a Certified Crop Adviser (CCA).

Requirements
  • This program is open to undergraduate students at colleges and universities in the following regions: desert, from Phoenix to San Diego and the Inland Empire; California coast, from Oxnard to Salinas to the Napa Valley; California northern valley, from Merced to Redding; and California southern valley, from Madera to Bakersfield).
  • Applicants must be studying agronomy in order to obtain their CCA credentials.
  • Selection is based on their answers to the following criteria questions: 1) course work, year in school, GPA, and major; 2) scholarships, awards, and other forms of recognition they have received; 3) leadership involvement at school and in the community; 4) professional commitment to agriculture and work history; and 5) their pathway to earning the CCA credential in the near future.
