The Worthington Scholarship is open to seniors graduating from designated high schools in Maine and planning to enroll full-time at a college or university in the state. Students may plan to begin at a 4-year college or university in the state or at a community college with the possibility of transferring to a 4-year school.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.7 GPA for students planning to attend a 4-year college or university, or 1.7 for students planning to attend a community college
  • Graduating senior at designated high schools in Aroostook, Franklin, Hancock, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Oxford, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Sagadahoc, Somerset, Waldo, or Washington counties in Maine
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Fulltime student
  • Seeking a professional certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree as a fulltime student at an eligible college or university in Maine
  • Maximum Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of less than $20,000
  • Demonstrate financial need
