The Yukio and Marian Iizuka Scholarship program supports graduates of a public high school in Hawaii who are seeking to serve the public through their studies. This scholarship was created in memory of Yukio Iizuka, a Japanese national who was a frequent visitor to Hawaii with his wife Marian. He valued education, especially in the fields of science and medical health services. Students attending a community college in the University of Hawaii system are eligible to apply.
