Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to Arizona residents who have been foster children and are interested in attending college.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Arizona who were wards of the state when they turned 18 years of age (i.e., they had not been adopted, awarded permanent guardianship, or reunited with their biological parents) and are currently younger than 24 years of age.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll at a college or university with at least 6 credit hours per semester.
  • Preference is given to applicants who spent more than 2 years in Arizona's foster care system.
  • For attendance at a 4year university, they must have graduated from high school with a GPA of 2.5 or higher or in the top 25% of their class or be currently enrolled with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Financial need is considered in the selection process.
