Requirements

This program is open to women who are residents of or attending school in Los Angeles County.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program and planning to prepare for a career in a field related to transportation (e.g., transportation engineering, planning, finance, logistics) or in environmental planning and science.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Minority women are especially encouraged to apply.

Selection is based on transportation career goals, academic record, commitment to transportation as demonstrated by extracurricular activities and/or work experience, writing skills, and a recommendation.
