Cinthya Felix Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate and post-baccalaureate Latino students from designated western states who are planning to prepare for a career in medicine.

Requirements

This program is open to Latino students at the sophomore or higher or post-baccalaureate level who are planning to attend medical school.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate a desire to advance the state of health care and education in Latino communities through extracurricular activities and/or membership in civic organizations.

They must be committed to preparing for a professional career in medicine and dedicated to serving the Latino and underserved communities.

Membership in the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) is required and applicants must live or attend school in its western region (Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming).

There are no citizenship or immigration requirements.
