Connecticut Alarm & Systems Integrators Association Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in Connecticut who are the children of active-duty law enforcement and fire service personnel and are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Connecticut who have been accepted at an accredited college or university in any state.

Applicants must have a father, mother, or legal guardian who is a fulltime active employee (not on disability) of the police or sheriff's department or a paid employee or volunteer of a fire department in Connecticut.

Selection is based on the essay (20%), grade average (20%), SAT or ACT scores (20%), community service (25%), and academic prizes, awards, hobbies, and school and outside extracurricular activities (15%).
