This program is open to students enrolled full-time as juniors or seniors at the Colorado School of Mines, Montana Technological University, New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, University of North Dakota, and the University of Wyoming.

Applicants must be majoring in petroleum engineering.

They must also document the effect of the scholarship on their finances.
