The Fire Chief Benny Nichols Scholarship program seeks current members of a paid or volunteer fire department in Cumberland County, North Carolina. Graduating seniors or recent graduates of a high school in Cumberland County, North Carolina are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to students who participated in the fire science curriculum at EE Smith High School, students attending or who graduated from the fire science program at Fayetteville Technical Community College in North Carolina, lastly students who demonstrate academic success and financial need.
