The FNGLA Big Bend Chapter Scholarship offers merit and need-based financial assistance to Florida students who plan to enter a career in the horticulture and nursery industry in Florida. Graduating high school seniors, and undergraduate, or graduate students studying for a horticulture, landscape architecture, or landscaping and groundskeeping are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to past recipients and students from Citrus, Dixie, Hernando, Levy, Pasco, or Taylor counties in Florida.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • Resident of Florida
  • High school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree in horticulture, landscape architecture, or landscaping and groundskeeping **OR**
  • Florida Certified Horticulture Professional (FCHP) certification
  • Planning to attend school in Florida
  • Exhibit interest in Florida’s nursery and landscape industry
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to past recipients and students who reside in the Big Bend area in Florida.
