Folsom Garden Club Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of selected counties in central California who are majoring in a horticulture-related field at a college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to 1) residents of El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo counties in California who are entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year at a college or university in any state; and 2) residents of any state attending college in those states.

Applicants must be majoring in agronomy, botany, conservation, environmental concerns, floriculture, forestry, horticulture, landscape design, plant pathology, or other horticulturerelated fields.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Selection is based on that letter (30%), academic record (40%), a list of honors, extracurricular activities, work experience (15%), recommendations (5%), and financial need (10%).
