The Fran and Harry Xanders Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to dependents of members of the California Association of Highway Patrolmen (CAHP) interested in attending college or graduate school.

Requirements

This program is open to the dependent children of active, retired, or deceased CAHP members who are working on or planning to work on an undergraduate or graduate degree at a college or university and must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Applicants must submit a personal statement outlining their academic goals and objectives, including their reasons for attending college and a description of how they plan to utilize their education in the future.

Selection is based on that statement, academic achievement, extracurricular and community involvement, and financial circumstances.
