Green Mountain Water Environment Association Scholarship provides financial assistance to Vermont residents who are interested in working on a degree in environmental studies at a college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors, high school graduates, and college students who are enrolled or planning to enroll full time at a college or university in Vermont or any other state.

Applicants must be interested in majoring in environmental studies, including (but not limited to) conservation, forestry, geology, natural resources management, renewable resources, water quality, or wildlife/wild lands management.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Selection is based on that essay, academic achievement, community involvement and/or service, a letter of recommendation, and financial need.
