Requirements

This program is open to residents of the greater Los Angeles County area, including Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties.

Applicants must be committed to, and qualified for, continuing the academic pursuit of an R.N., L.V.N., or graduate degree in nursing at a school in the greater Los Angeles area or at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV).

They must have completed some units toward such a degree prior to applying.

Both men and women are eligible.

Selection is based on the ability to articulate a clear statement of goals, the likelihood of goal attainment, demonstration of personal courage and commitment, and financial need.
