Joseph W. Manganaro Scholarship provides financial assistance to students from New Jersey interested in working on an undergraduate degree in a field related to environmental protection and/or water resources.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools or technical schools in New Jersey and to students currently enrolled full-time at a college or university in the state.

Applicants must be interested in working on an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or environmental science, or other wastewaterrelated studies such as biology or chemistry or a certificate program in a vocational field related to the wastewater industry (e.g., electrical maintenance, electronics, welding, heavy equipment operation, systems technology).

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

A sponsor, who is a member of the New Jersey Water Environment Association, preferably its South Section, must nominate them.
