Maniilaq Association Higher Education Program provides financial assistance to members of selected Alaska Native tribes in the service area of the Maniilaq Association who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to enrolled members of tribes that are authorized by resolution of the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) to the Maniilaq Association (Ambler, Deering, Kivalina, Kobuk, Noorvik, and Shungnak).
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll full or parttime in a degree program at an accredited college, university, or vocational program in any state.
  • They must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher and be able to demonstrate financial need.
