MEA Scholarship provides financial assistance to Michigan high school seniors whose parents belong to the Michigan Education Association (MEA) and who are planning to attend college in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from a public high school in Michigan who will be attending a Michigan public community/junior college, 4-year degree-granting institution, vocational training institution, or the following private institutions: Baker College, University of Detroit-Mercy, Finlandia University, Adrian College, or Albion College.

Applicants must be dependents of MEA members or MEARetired members.

All other criteria being equal, the first consideration is given to the children of MEA members and students from lowerincome households.

Selection is based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and school and community service.
