MEA Scholarship provides financial assistance to Michigan high school seniors whose parents belong to the Michigan Education Association (MEA) and who are planning to attend college in the state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from a public high school in Michigan who will be attending a Michigan public community/junior college, 4-year degree-granting institution, vocational training institution, or the following private institutions: Baker College, University of Detroit-Mercy, Finlandia University, Adrian College, or Albion College.
  • Applicants must be dependents of MEA members or MEARetired members.
  • All other criteria being equal, the first consideration is given to the children of MEA members and students from lowerincome households.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and school and community service.
