  • Participation in community service, extracurricular activities, leadership, or work
  • Exhibit good character
  • Demonstrate financial need Employees of the Community Foundation, members of the Board of Trustees, relatives and employees of Mr. and Mrs. Magglio Ordoñez, Ilitch Charities for Children, the Detroit Tigers Foundation, Detroit Tigers, Inc., and members of the selection committee, and dependents of any of the above, are ineligible for this scholarship.
