Oregon Hunter Jumper Association Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Oregon Hunter Jumper Association (OHJA) who are planning to attend college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to OHJA junior members who are at any academic level from junior in high school to final year at an accredited college or university in any state.

Applicants must submit brief answers to questions about their educational goal; academic achievements; leadership and community activities; participation in extracurricular school, civic, and volunteer activities; horsemanship and OHJA involvement; horserelated or community honors or awards, and most valuable learning experience (positive or negative) related to horses and/or riding.

Selection is based on academic achievements and success (15%), letters of recommendation (15%), horsemanship knowledge and achievements (15%), future goals and plans (15%), and an interview (40%).
