Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors, college students, and graduate students who are Oregon residents and interested in preparing for a teaching career (on the elementary or secondary school level) in Oregon.

Applicants must be attending or planning to attend an Oregon public college or university that trains teachers or an Oregon community college that transfers credits to an education major.

Selection is based on character, academics, and PTA knowledge; connection to PTA is a tiebreaker.
