Requirements

This program is open to women who are single mothers and residents of the greater Los Angeles County area, including Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties.

Applicants must have become single parents and heads of the household following the dissolution of an abusive or emotionally traumatic relationship.

They must be enrolled in college to learn marketable skills that will lead to economic selfsufficiency.

Selection is based on the ability to articulate a clear statement of goals, the likelihood of goal attainment, demonstration of personal courage and commitment, and financial need.
