Requirements

This program is open to residents of Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa who are high school seniors or graduates enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited college or university in any state.

Applicants must have been treated in a burn unit, including those who suffered severe frostbite and those who have been treated for soft tissue injury.

Selection is based on that essay, academic performance, community service, career and life aspirations, the impact their burn injury has had on their life, and financial need.
