TREWA Scholarship provides financial assistance to members and children of members of the Texas Rural Electric Women's Association (TREWA) who plan to study a field related to energy or electricity at a college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to current members of the association and their children who are graduating high school seniors, current full-time college students, or adults.

Applicants may enroll or plan to enroll fulltime at an accredited college, university, junior or community college, trade/technical school, or business school in any state to work on a degree, certificate, diploma, or license.

Grades received in high school are not the deciding factor in the selection process; leadership qualities, career focus, energy awareness, the essay, general knowledge of the rural electric program, and financial need are considered.
