From the Institution

Truett McConnell University (TMU) is a biblically centered liberal arts and science university providing students an experience built upon four pillars: love the Lord, love His Word, love the Church, and love the lost. The mission of Truett McConnell University is to equip students with the Truth, through a Biblically-centered education, to fulfill the Great Commission. Located on 240 scenic acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, our campus serves as a beautiful backdrop for the perfect college experience. Each graduate completes the Great Commission Minor and is encouraged to go on an evangelistic world mission trip. A Christian worldview is at the core of everything we do, including 39 undergraduate degree programs and 11 graduate degree programs; 22 athletic teams; a weekly chapel service; and a thriving student life. TMU offers a community that fosters growth, discipleship, and a desire to serve. In that, our goal is to prepare students to boldly fulfill the Great Commission in whatever their calling may be.
