Duquesne University students take classes on a park-like campus next to downtown Pittsburgh. Learning with and from students of diverse cultural, socioeconomic and religious backgrounds from every state and 50 countries - our students develop friendships that last a lifetime. With an average student-faculty ratio of 13:1, Duquesne professors walk alongside our students to help them reach their bigger goals. With 35+ study abroad programs, and its central location to the heart of Pittsburgh, Duquesne provides a perfect laboratory for both international and local community engagement and practical experience through fieldwork, research projects and internships at major corporations, healthcare systems, schools and other organizations. Students enjoy walking or the short bus ride to Pittsburgh's cultural district, sports stadiums, shopping, dining and parks, and can choose from 250+ student organizations including academic, social, service, spiritual, political, performing arts, and sports. Duquesne has 17 NCAA Division I men's and women's teams (with additional coming soon!) plus club and intramural sports. Over 8,500 students attend Duquesne annually and the alumni network is 100,000+ strong.
