From the Institution

Beloiters explore their interests both in and outside the classroom and apply their liberal arts and sciences education to successful careers and meaningful lives. Through an integrated learning approach that connects every aspect of their campus experience to their futures, Beloit students learn to communicate effectively, collaborate productively, solve programs creatively, and become intellectually and personally agile while studying in small classes with dedicated faculty. Beloit College's faculty and staff are tenacious in confronting challenges in ways that create opportunity for students. The suite of Beloit programs that addressed the academic, personal, and financial pressures imposed on students and families by the COVID-19 pandemic set an example for colleges across the nation. Beloit's Advanced Mentoring Program is a two-year support system that offers specialized classes, a small advisory group, and personalized guidance, part of a serious commitment to connecting college to careers. That also includes Career Channels, a curated immersion in a professional field that helps students envision how they'll use their academic and extracurricular experiences. And Beloit alumni - who work in interesting and meaningful jobs around the world - mentor these students by sharing their experiences, wisdom, and connections. Students come to Beloit College to join a community of optimists, realists, activists, entrepreneurs, and people who resist labels and just want to do good work in the world. They build relationships with fellow students, faculty, and administrators who change their lives. They graduate ready to contribute to the world, supported by Beloit alums powering their paths. Uncommon, undaunted, unstoppable. That's Beloit. We hope you'll join us.
