AAFSW "Twice Exceptional" Merit Scholarship provides financial assistance to students who have an Individualized Education Program (I.E.P.) and whose immediate family member belongs to the Associates of the American Foreign Service Worldwide (AAFSW).

Requirements
  • The program is open to 1) high school seniors with an I.E.P. or equivalent; 2) gap year students entering college with an I.E.P. or equivalent; and 3) college freshmen and sophomores with an I.E.P. or equivalent from the junior or senior year in high school.
  • Applicants must have an immediate family member who is part of the foreign affairs agency community and belongs to AAFSW. Along with their application, they must submit a 500word essay in which they pick an experience from their foreign service life and explain how it has affected their higher education.
