About the Scholarship

The AFSCME Local 2227 Scholarship is available to senior students from public high schools in Polk County, Florida, whose parent/grandparent or guardian is a member of the AFSCME Local 2227, as well as students from other counties whose parent, grandparent, or guardian works in Polk County and former recipients. Students seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree are eligible to apply.
