Albuquerque Post Society of American Military Engineers High School Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in New Mexico interested in studying engineering, mathematics, or science at a college in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in New Mexico who plan to work on an undergraduate degree in engineering, mathematics, or science at a college or university in the state.

Applicants must submit 12 brief statements related to their past activities and future plans.

Selection is based on academic record, demonstrated school leadership positions, community involvement, and ability to earn partial tuition costs and fulfill financial needs.

Preference is given to children of a parent killed in military action.

Special consideration is given to the child of an activeduty service member, child of a veteran, or child of a family with a strong history of military service.
